San Cristobal Island These volcanic islands are located 1000 km off the continental coast of Ecuador. To reach them you must take a flight from the cities of Quito or Guayaquil. Several airlines offer flights of at least 2 hours. Remember that before checking in with your airline, in Quito or Guayaquil, you must acquire the Transit Control Card (TCT) at the office of the Governing Council of Galápagos. This document is necessary for the immigration control of entry and stay of visitors, which can be up to 60 days. Additionally, you will have to pay the entrance fee to the Galápagos National Park.
